We here at Black Hills Cycles were super excited about teaming up with the folks at the Old Style Saloon #10 In historical Deadwood, South Dakota.
Check out the pictures below of the process and the completed custom "American Whiskey Bar" bike for Saloon #10. The bike was built in order to raise money for their Relay For Life Charity.
The completed bike was displayed for 4 weeks at the Old Style Saloon #10 on Main Street in Deadwood.
There were almost 500 tickets sold. The drawing was held at 5 p.m. on August 10, 2016 at the Old Style Saloon #10 during the 76th Annual Sturgis Rally. The lucky winner was from Florida. Proceeds of over $40,000 went to benefit the Relay For Life Charity. Black Hills Cycles' very own Jason led the build, fabricating several of the parts from scratch in order to keep the overall cost down. He was assisted by employees of the Old Style Saloon #10, including Assistant Bar Manager Charlie, Owner Lori, Bar Manager Kal, and Cocktail/Bartender Lia. Former employee of Black Hills Cycles Chase, assisted Jason with many aspects of the build when available. As it was Chase's first time ever being involved in a build like this, his learning curve was steep but he was a tremendous help to Jason. A big thanks to those who donated there time to make this bike a reality.
The bike was also featured on the Annual Saloon #10 Rally Poster, and on the cover of the Sturgis 2016 Ultimate Guide for the 76th Sturgis Rally. This project would not have been possible without the support of the sponsors below.
